I took the photos on two different mornings from the exact spot. One day it was a clear sky and the other day it was foggy. I used my iPhone to take the photos and an application called Tiltshiftgenerator to increase the contrast a bit.
The blue colour on the one image is I think down to the phone camera. It made it look blue although it was actually a grey-ish day.
