Painting with Light

These are photos that I took as a preparation for a photoshoot that I am planning this weekend with two music producer friends.

For me painting with light really showcases one of the magic powers of photography. Being able to freeze a single moment but also the flow of time in one image. Everything here is done in camera - no Photoshop involved.

Having never done this before I feel like a little child who just discovered a paint brush and a bucket of paint for the first time.

Obviously I need to practise a bit more to get perfect. Especially when it comes to the spheres.

Talking about spheres. I took the idea from this guy here. Denis Smith is a master in this. http://www.denissmith.com.au/photo-gallery/ball-of-light/

Let's see if I can bring some more spheres to London. He seems to be stuck in the country side. ;)
